At The Border Collie Family, we are committed to raising healthy, well-socialized Border Collies and carefully matching each puppy with a loving and responsible home. Because bringing a puppy into your family is a long-term commitment, we encourage every prospective owner to take the time to consider their decision before placing a reservation or completing a purchase.

Once a puppy has been reserved, a deposit may be required to hold the puppy until it is ready to go to its new home. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deposits are generally considered non-refundable because they reserve a specific puppy and prevent that puppy from being made available to other families. However, we understand that unexpected situations can arise, and we encourage buyers to contact us as soon as possible to discuss any concerns. In some circumstances, we may offer to transfer a deposit to a future litter at our discretion.

Due to the nature of selling live animals, we do not accept returns in the same way that a retail store accepts returned merchandise. Our priority is always the health, safety, and well-being of every puppy. If a family is no longer able to care for a Border Collie purchased from us, we ask that they contact us before making any other arrangements. Whenever possible, we will work with the owner to discuss available options and help ensure the dog is placed in a safe, caring environment.

If a puppy is found by a licensed veterinarian to have a serious health condition shortly after going home, we ask that you notify us promptly and provide the relevant veterinary documentation. We will carefully review the information and work with you in good faith to determine an appropriate solution, which may include support, a replacement puppy when available, or another mutually agreed resolution, in accordance with the terms of any written health guarantee provided at the time of purchase.

Refunds are not available for issues that arise from changes in personal circumstances, lifestyle, housing, allergies, lack of time, or other situations unrelated to the puppy’s health or any written agreement between the buyer and The Border Collie Family. We encourage every family to ensure they are fully prepared for the responsibilities of dog ownership before making their decision.
